Architectural concept of road museum building(s) and landscaping projects
Purpose Public
Date: 2015
Total area 8300,8 m²

The museum is divided into three volumes, the volume of visitors' premises and administration, the volume of museum expositions, hangar and the non-exhibited technical volume. The museum exhibition volume is highlighted by heights, shape and color as the dominant of the territory. The increase in the height of the building volumes is designed with two aspects in mind, emphasizing the main entrance to the museum and highlighting the volume of the museum from the highway. The main focus is on the "unveiling" of the museum's volume and outdoor exposition from the A1 highway.
The volume of the visitors' premises and the administration is combined with the volume of the museum's expositions by a glass gallery, a kind of "road" through which the visitors travel through the museum's premises, framed on both sides by glass partitions.
The hangar and the non-exhibited technical volume, is designed adjacent to the volume of the museum's exhibitions, in order to achieve an optimal functional connection, but oriented in such a way that it is as little visible as possible from the main visual directions.
